This is "Chase", a two year old German Shepard. Chase swallowed this spoon on Saturday. The spoon was being held by a child in the family. It contained a gob of peanut butter and his medicine. Chase decided to eat the whole spoon as he could not distinguish the spoon from the peanut butter. These x-rays were taken on the following Monday. They show the spoon is now in the rectum. The spoon went from the mouth to rectum in 2 days with no ill effect on the dog. It was removed with a short probe and forcep.
