Sportmix brand dog food has been recalled for potentially fatal levels of alflatoxin, or mold. Sportmix is manufactured by Midwestern Petfoods Inc. The FDA said it was aware of at least 28 dogs that have died or have become ill after eating the affected food. No illnesses have been reported from the Sportmix cat food.
